We all want to use the best iPhone camera applications and not be duped into buying a sub-par application There are literally hundreds of camera applications on the Apple App Store so it can be very difficult to find the ones that are actually worth your while. We compiled this list of 5 iPhone applications that are worth the money they cost.
Note: Optrix has submitted a new application to the App Store called “Optrix” that we think you all will really like. It will have a lot of features that you iPhoneographers will love and it will just keep getting better, as we have planned enhancements that we will roll out over time. Stay tuned her for an announcement when it is approved.
Camera Awesome (Free with In-App Purchases)
Camera Awesome is an all around great camera application. It doesn’t do any one thing perfectly but it does a lot of things really well. It is full featured with features like a self timer, interval mode, video, slow burst, fast burst, and several focus features. It also has a lot of filters as well as in-app purchases with filters and frames. You can find it here.
Camera+ ($1.99 with In-App Purchases)
Camera+ has fewer filters and features than Camera Awesome but the features it does have are better implemented. They just updated the application and among other features, they implemented something they call “clarity”. “Clarity analyzes your photos and makes several intelligent adjustments that magically bring out details and breathe life into dull photos.” Camera+ is a very strong camera application that is worth taking a look at. You can find it here.
Slow Shutter Cam ($.99)
Slow Shutter Cam is a great app that focuses on one feature and does it really well. It allows you to fine-tune the shutter speed when taking photos as well as take photos using a cool “Light Trail” effect. Your photos will have a unique look that you will love. Slow Shutter is available here.
Color Effects (Free)
